There have been rumors that Yemi Alade has an on and off beef with fellow female singer Tiwa Savage, who is one of the biggest female artistes in Nigeria at the moment.
During a recent interview with Nairobi News, the singer who also participated in the Coke Studio Africa season 4 in Kenya, addressed the allegations.
“Of course not. We are cool people. All over the world people like to knock heads of female together. It’s always the females.” She said.
Yemi Alade also revealed the biggest misconception people have about her: “So many things have been said about me even as an artiste and fellow celebrities as well, but I will take this opportunity to advise them. If you haven’t spoken to someone one on one and they haven’t told you something, don’t listen to them. Don’t believe everything you hear or see if you haven’t talked to the person. I am who I am.”
