Reliable information reaching us indicates that plans are far advanced to have Wizkid perform with Drake at the 2016 BET Awards which is scheduled to come off at the Microsoft Theater on Sunday June 26 2016.
In an exclusive interview with Fox FM’s Lovin Cee, Lipede Adewole of Backhome Productions, a media outfit based in LA with affiliations to BET International, plans were far advanced for Wizkid to join Drake perform at the BETs.
Answering a question as to when acts from Africa could make a debut on the awards stage to perform, Lipede broke the big news as he said; “This year we are working on a big deal. Hopefully we can get Wizkid to join Drake on stage. it’s just a matter of time.”
This comes as not too much of a surprise to us as the two with Kyla have one of the biggest songs of the world at the moment One Dance. One Dance since its release has topped Billboard charts for the past 7 weeks and still growing strong.
