Mombasa county commissioner Nelson Marwa has raised concern over the rising cases of pornography in the county. Marwa ordered for a major crackdown on bars, night clubs and private homes involved or suspected to be engaging in pornography.

Speaking during a security meeting at the Coast Regional Headquarters, Marwa directed chiefs and their assistants to list down licensed and unlicensed bars and night clubs to facilitate monitoring of their activities.

He also directed police to investigate all suspicious private homes in lavish estates, especially Nyali, which are rampant with pornographic activities.
