Winnie Wa Mummy, managed by the dancehall singer Mudra D’ Viral, has publicly expressed her frustration with fellow artist Ava Peace.
Mudra, who previously launched Ava Peace’s career, now finds himself at the center of a heated dispute between the two musicians.
In an emotional video shared online, Winnie Wa Mummy accused Ava Peace of consistently undermining her during events where they share the stage.
The tension between the two reached its peak during a recent NTV Uganda show, where Winnie claims she was treated unfairly to accommodate Ava.
“I know my manager is friends with Ava Peace,” Winnie tearfully explained.
“But I’m tired of the disrespect. She came late, but they just took the microphone from me and gave it to her without any explanation. It’s really hurtful because she’s always putting me down, especially when we’re in the same place.”
According to Winnie, Ava Peace arrived late for the NTV performance but was prioritized, resulting in Winnie being pushed off stage.
She believes these actions are deliberate attempts by Ava to sabotage her career.
Despite the discouragement, Winnie Wa Mummy remains resolute. “I won’t give up,” she said, affirming her commitment to her music and her determination to rise above the challenges.
