Turns out musician Winnie Nwagi who was picked by Swangz Avenue from Coke Rated Next has grown wings to the extent that she is getting on fans’ nerves.
Tempers flared recently when the singer who had been advertised to perform at a bar in Bukoto turned up hours late while impatient fans hurled insults at organizers and bar owners. The singer who made her way to the show after attending another show decided to stay in the car in the guise of applying makeup while she was on a phone call with someone. Fans grew even more impatient and attacked the car forcing management to escort her to the lounge so that she could do her make up there.
Nwagi who hit the stage at around 2:30 am while fans had been waiting since 9pm attracted insults from some of them with one fan saying that she is becoming too proud because of her one hit, Musawo.
“She thinks she is now like Juliana Kanyomozi and people will wait for her for all this time. Tell you what, she is not even close. One hit cannot make her great to the extent of making me wait from 9pm to now 2am,” said a fan shortly before Nwagi made her way to the stage.
We have been told that the singer was later warned by her Swangz Ave management team to make sure that she shows up at concerts early and respects fans as is the core value for their company to prosper.
