August is an exciting month for football fans. Following the thrilling FA Cup final on August 1st, UEFA Europa League has returned. After the competition was suspended because of the COVID-19 pandemic, a new format had been adopted.

StarTimes, the exclusive broadcaster of the UEFA Europa League, will broadcast the semi-final matches between Sevilla and Manchester United on Sunday at 10pm; while Inter Milan will battle Shakhtar Donetsk on Monday at 10 pm and then the competition will come to an end on 21st August 2020

That’s not all, the 2020/21 Europa League season will kick off on August 20 with the Qualifying.

Then, the following week on August 29, StarTimes will air FA Community Shield taking place at Wembley Stadium. It will be contested between Premier League winners Liverpool and the winners of the 2020 FA Cup, Arsenal. It should be remembered that the Gunners defeated Chelsea 2-1 in the FA Cup final on August 1 which match was shown live on StarTimes

From September 3, StarTimes will air the UEFA Nations League. The second edition of UEFA’s newest national-team competition will begin with great clashes such as Germany vs. Spain, Sweden against France and titleholder Portugal vs. Croatia.

Just like we promised more sports entertainment, The most affordable digital TV operator in Uganda, StarTimes, recently acquired LaLiga broadcasting rights (French commentary) for four seasons. The exciting Spanish league will be showed on the StarTimes sport channels starting from the first 20120/21 season matchday on September 12.

Talent continues to emerge every passing day but this time its a gospel singer. America Arnold os the latest entrant in the gospel music arena as he drops his first single “Elyato”

In Elyato, America Arnold cries for God’s rescuing hand. He repents sin and begs to belong to the chosen. This is only intended to bring salvation to hos audience as he considers himself already born again.

While dropping his song, America said he was called to serve God and he will do it through music.

Ugandan legendary radio presenter, James Onen aka FatBoy was fired two months ago from Ruparelia Group founded radio station, 88.2 Sanyu FM.

This was after he allegedly planned a sit-down strike at the urban-based radio station over a pay cut.
