Lucky winners have praised Airtel Uganda for rewarding them as part of the ongoing Recharge Promotion.

Aimed at mobilizing all Ugandans to go and show support for their national team as they play against Comoros in their final AFCON qualifier, the Recharge Promotion has so far rewarded hundreds of Ugandans with tickets to the game, brand new cars and millions of shillings in cash handovers.

Kayizzi Hamis – a mechanic from Kavulu, Sembatya Vincent – a fruit vendor from Wakiso, Ssekito James Kato – an accountant from Kawempe and Mugumya Hassan – a business man from Katooke are some of the lucky Airtel subscribers who have each won themselves UGX 1,000,000 in the Airtel Recharge promotion.

Sembatya, one of the winners, thanked Airtel Uganda for the money which he intends to use to expand his fruit business. “I have been trying to get capital to expand the business. Thank you Airtel for making my dreams come true,” he said.

“I encourage everyone to keep recharging so that you can also win big from the recharge promotion. Come 4 th September, let’s all go support the Cranes in the AFCON qualifier game against Comoros,” Ssekito James, another cash winner, stated.

Commenting about the cash hand overs, Airtel Uganda Head of Brand & Communications, Remmie Kisakye, congratulated all the winners and encouraged all Ugandans to continue recharging to stand a chance to win some of the goodies.

“This Airtel recharge promotion was launched to mobilize all the citizens of Uganda to come and support the Uganda Cranes, while winning lots of prizes including tickets to the game, money and brand new cars. I encourage you all to keep recharging – it’s not too late to win,” she said.

Aside from cash, Airtel Uganda has also given out brand new Toyota Premios to three of its subscribers.

To be part of the lucky winners, all one has to do is recharge today through Airtel Money, e-recharge or use a voucher.
