Musician Ronald Mayinja shocked all his fans when he became born again last night at Miracle Cathedral.
The singer who confessed to having a troublesome life said that he had wanted to go to the bar but found himself in church.
“I wondered, which bar is open right now. I didn’t go there. I my mind, I yearned to go to a church, but wondered which one is open Mondays because I have been fellow shipping at Namirembe Cathedral. I got an idea like I was speaking to someone, the voice said, pass by Pr Kajanja’s Church. If you find them praying, go along and pray with them. When I came here, I was given a seat. I felt peace in my life. I had never met Pr Kayanja ever before in my life. I have only seen him on TV. When I came at the pulpit, I told him my issues in a whisper. I whispered a lot of issues. He told me all that has come to an end, let us pray. From today I have accepted Jesus Christ, He is the Lord and savior of my life,’ Ronald Mayinja said last night standing next to Pastor Robert Kayanja.
Although some are saying that the singer was being disturbed by witchcraft that has been sent to him because of his position in the music industry. There is also talk of a need to be protected.
We have been told that the singer who recently released an anti-government song is on the list for questioning by the authorities. The song titled Mzei Bizeemu was bound to get him in alot of trouble thus seeking solace in church.
‘They are looking for him for that song. The only way he could survive was to say that he has turned towards God so that the Balokole can protect him if anyone tries to take him for questioning,’ said one of his fellow singers who preferred anonymity on hearing that Ronald had become saved.
