Monday night was not a good one for musician G-Snake of Firebase.
The singer who was invited to a club to make an appearance didn’t know that her night would end up in blood.
According to our sources who were at Real Bar in Kajjassi on Monday, the singer arrived for the party like anyone else, booked a table and bought drinks with her team. “She had been paid to make an appearance and not to perform,” the source says.
When fans noticed her presence, they demanded that she should perform. But the singer refused because she had not been paid to perform but to turn up and warm the party. At this point, one of the managers of the bar, Frank approached her and asked her to perform contrary to their earlier agreement.
Things go out of hand when she refused and demanded for a top up of 700,000shs. “Frank then said that he didn’t have the money and he therefore needed her to perform without it. She stormed out of the bar with her team, went to her car and before she could close the door she was assaulted,” the source adds.
The singer was beaten so badly by a man that she almost passed out only to be helped by some revelers.
She is in the process of having the perpetrator apprehended and brought to book.
