Despite her age, the South African music legend, Yvonne Chaka Chaka has no plans to retire from music anytime soon.
After decades in the music industry, wowing fans across the globe, you would imagine Yvonne might be tired of the industry and is ready to pack and head to a small island to enjoy her life.
“Because I work for myself, I can take a break at any time,” she said, adding that, “Of course music is work, but for me, it’s become a part of my life. When I sing, I sing because I am inspired by the good, or the bad, or the sadness around me. There’s no time to retire,” she said.
