In fact, your face can say “come hither” better than any sexy outfit—but only if you know the right expression to wear: The top reason men report not speaking to and flirting with women is that they look unapproachable, according to a recent survey by the dating advice site Wing Girl Method.
For the survey, Wing Girl Method asked 200 men on Twitter and Facebook what keeps them from talking to women. Turns out, 55 percent said that a woman’s standoffish facial expression usually stops them from sparking conversation. What’s worse, women usually aren’t aware they’re giving these unapproachable looks, says Marni Kinrys, founder of the Wing Girl Method
Men don’t want to be rejected or fall flat on their faces,” she says. “If a woman looks at a guy with a scowl, why would he want to approach her?”
