Following a successful show at Blankets & Wine, Konshens had a meeting with the Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations and President Museveni’s son, Gen. Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
A photo of the two shaking hands and group photos with other Jamaican music promoters part of Konshen’s team emerged on Monday evening on social media and these made rounds which made Ugandans to question what transpired in their meeting.
Konshens’ visit to Uganda included his headline performance at this year’s last edition of Blankets & Wine, where his electrifying performance captivated revelers and further solidified his connection with the local music community. Konshens also took the time to do a song with Pallaso.
It has been revealed that during their meeting, Gen Kainerugaba and Konshens discussed the potential for collaboration between the Jamaican and Ugandan music industries, highlighting the shared opportunities and vibrant music scenes in both countries.
