Why General Tumukunde’s sons were arrested last night

Security personnel last night stormed General Tumukunde’s home in kololo and arrested his two sons, a reliable source has told this website. The two sons Phillip Tumukunde and Amanya Nduhura Tumukunde were arrested at around 10:45pm last night and detained at different Police station.

It is said that after the arrest of their father on Thursday night, the sons were also picked from home by Joint Anti-Terrorism Task Force and were taken for further search. According to our source, like how General Tumukunde’s arrested still remain unknown to the general public, his sons arrest for further search also remains unclear.

General Tumukunde who was arrested with a total of 16 other people are said to not have been attended to by their lawyers and the dates for them to appear in court are yet to be disclosed. General Tumukunde last week joined the number of candidates ready to vie for the Presidential seat next year as he declared his bid for Presidency.
