In the Fable of Antisthenes, the lions said to the hares when, in the council of beasts, the latter began haranguing and claiming equality for all—“Where are your claws?”
This Fable perfectly summarizes the fallacy of Feminism. The worst thing ever to happen to women is Feminism. In trying to position women as strong, Feminism also indirectly and unknowingly positions women as weak, and lesser to men.
It would take an enlightened woman to notice that Feminism in fighting for the rights of women, also positions them as the weaker of species who need a special body to fight for their cause.
Let me explain something. Supposing we say that Student A and Student B are equally intelligent. However, we also say, that Student B should be given an extra point to make it possible for him/her to join University. That act alone, negates our first assumption that Student A and B are equally intelligent.
Another way to look at it, back to the Fable of Antisthenes. If the Hares felt they were equally as strong as the lions, they didn’t have to shout out this fact, they would prove it with their claws.
The worst crime that we’ve committed against women is to tell them that they are equal to men and at the same time, ask for all kinds of favours to enable them to reach the same strides as men. It just doesn’t make any sense, not in the past, not now, and certainly not in the future.
If women believe themselves to be equal to men, let them reject feminism because at its heart is a hidden despise for the female species. At the heart of feminism is contempt for women.
Feminism believes women to be helpless, that’s why it claims to come to their help. The moment someone sees you as helpless, they’ve passed a sentence for you, they’ve considered you weak and lesser of a human than them.
For the sake of equality, we ought to do women a favour, reject feminism and all the privileges that it asks to be accorded to women. My strong mother didn’t need feminism to get entry to University, she didn’t need an extra point, she didn’t need someone to demand that a company employs her, she proved it through her ability.
There are thousands of such women around the world. Marie Curie, the great French Physicist known for her works in Radioactivity didn’t need Feminism to prove her greatness, she went out and did just that.
Away from Feminism being a war against men, it’s also a crime against women (the very people it claims to be saving).
