Diamond’s ex-girlfriend, Wema Sepetu, has revealed that she is not able to get pregnant. The beauty took to her Instagram account where she expressed her desire to be a mother, but unfortunately she can’t bear children. “Ningekuwa na uwezo wa kuzaa ningekuwa nimezaa muda mrefu sana… But, sina.”
Wema went ahead to express displeasure with those who pressure her to have her own children, yet she is not able, “Mngependa niwaambie jinsi ninavyohangaika usiku na mchana kupata mtoto wangu mwenyewe. Mnadhani siumii mnavyosema kuhusu maswala ya mtoto, au napenda kuona wenzangu wana watoto au uja uzito ilhali mimi sina hata wa kusingiziwa?”
Wema wrote her long post after feeling fans were pushing her to conceive; even in some of her posts that are not directly related to motherhood, “Unaweza weka post kwa nia nzuri, then people just come from nowhere wanaanza kukuandikia maneno ya kukuumiza kabisa nafsi hadi mtu unakaa ukijiuliza umemkosea nini Mwenyezi Mungu. Kwani kuna niliyemkosea mpaka muanze tu kunikashifu na kunitolea maneno mazito namna hiyo – kisa na maana ni mtoto?”
She further says it is not her liking to be in a position of not being able to bear children, “Hata mimi natamani kuitwa mama na hakuna kinachoniuma kama hicho. Mwafikiria nisingependa kuacha hata copy kangu siku ndo Mungu anasema ananichukua. Ningependa kupiga picha niko na mwanangu. I want that with all my life, but I can’t!”
The former Miss Tanzania 2006 concludes her post asking her followers not to rub it on her face that she has no kids, “Just don’t rub it in. It hurts. I am just a human being like each and every one of you.”
The post comes a few hours after Wema had on Instagram congratulated her younger sister, Hamisa Mobetto, for her pregnancy. She also expressed her desire to conceive, “Jamani my mdogo umezaa? I just heard you were pregnant. Oh my! Hongera mummy. I can’t even start telling you how much I envy you right now.”
