City Rock Entertainment was formed way back in 2006 as a boys and girls dance group. However, along the way group they decided to venture into music and they have since released a couple of songs which include; Kavunza, Oshanana, Teddy tereza among others. City Rock makes sure that every year, there is at least one song that their fans can relate to and this has kept them in the spotlight.
Most groups like Blue 3, Maisha, among others fell apart because of love issues. According to the management of City Rock, it’s forbidden for members to have a romantic affair with each other and this has kept internal wrangles at bay.
City Rock Entertainment has realised that what they are into is business and therefore have learnt to commercialize it. Stake holders earn from their contributions while group members get their payment on time. Many groups switch from one management to the other but since inception they have been under one management and this has kept them moving forward in the right direction. Management ensures there is a clear road map outlining what is expected to be achieved at the end of every year and this has kept them on track.
City Rock is very versatile; they can dance, sing, act and write their own music despite having other writers like King Saha and the rest that chip in to add flavor to their music. They have over 10 videos lined up for completion before the end of this year. The sky is the limit for these boys and girls.
