ShoNaLe, the highly anticipated musical event, returned with a bang on Saturday at Lugogo Hockey Grounds, featuring a spectacular performance by Nigerian musical talent, Ric Hassani. The event had last taken place in 2019 with Nonso Amadi as the headliner at Dungu Resort.

Ric Hassani, the soulful and dynamic artist, delivered an unforgettable performance. A standout moment of the night was Hassani’s heartfelt tribute to the late Radio Mowzey. He paid homage by singing Mowzey’s iconic track, “Sweet Lady,” creating a poignant atmosphere that resonated with the audience.

Adding to the excitement, Ric Hassani invited Joshua Baraka to join him on stage for a collaborative rendition of Mario’s classic hit, “Let Me Love You.” The synergy between the two artists elevated the energy of the event, leaving the audience enthralled.

ShoNaLe 2024 was not only about Ric Hassani’s stellar performance but also a celebration of diverse talents that captivated the audience throughout the night. The dynamic duo set by DJ Ssese and DJ Alza set the perfect vibe with their seamless collaboration, while Etania injected an electrifying energy into the party, ensuring that the crowd remained on their feet.

The charismatic hosting talents of Zuba Mutesi and Saint Trevor added an extra layer of entertainment, keeping the atmosphere lively and engaging. Their banter and rapport with the audience contributed significantly to the overall enjoyment of the event. Meanwhile, DJ Vanns, Em that Guy, and DJ Melvyn took turns on the decks, delivering pulsating beats that resonated with the diverse musical tastes of the audience.

The crowd was further enthralled by Elijah Kitaka, Warafiki girls, and Mike Mungu, who each brought their unique flair to the stage, leaving an indelible mark on the ShoNaLe 2024 experience. The amalgamation of these diverse talents ensured that the event was a well-rounded celebration of music and entertainment, leaving the audience eagerly anticipating the next edition of ShoNaLe.
