For rum lovers, there was no better plot than the Gunnar Soundwave experience that went down last Saturday at Motiv. Not only did it feature exciting performances, there was also an abundance of rum to wet their throats.
Happening for the first time, the event aimed to showcase the artistes that rocked the airwaves during lockdown. It featured performances from Karole Kasita, Lagum The Rapper, C Dave, GrG and Rulz who delighted revelers with their lockdown hits.
The event also had a line up of deejays that held down the party through mixcloud and on air radio sets including Sal Deejay, Emmie, Soundtrack Deejay, and Bugy among others.
Speaking on the sidelines of the show, the organizers revealed this is only the beginning and there is plenty more shows planned for the year.
“We want to provide a platform for all creatives to showcase the great works and projects they have been working on,” the organizers told our reporter. “This is the first episode in many to come for season one of the Gunnar Soundwave experience.”
“We will be announcing our next episodes on our social media platforms soon,” they added.
