Renowned American cable channel HBO (Makers of Game of Thrones, True Blood and Boardwalk Empire) is set to screen a documentary about the fateful Westgate Mall terror attack that claimed the lives of 67 people in September last year.

Dubbed Terror at the Mall, the documentary is scheduled to premiere on September 15th 2014 at 9 pm to mark one year since that shocking attack. With top notch production and exclusive footage of what transpired at the mall, Terror at The Mall could reveal more than we have already seen in the investigative pieces done by local television stations.

Synopsis:

Terror at the Mall is a visceral account of the events of September 2013, when four gunmen from the Islamist group al-Shabaab stormed the West Gate Mall in Nairobi, Kenya, resulting in the deaths of 67 people with over 200 injured. Dan Reed (HBO’s Terror in Moscow and Terror in Mumbai) directs the film, which features never-before-seen footage and photographs of the siege unfolding and first-hand accounts from those who experienced the attack as it happened.
