Afrima award winners, Radio and Weasel, also known as the dynamic duo, go together well especially during performances, but this is not something that revelers experienced at Asylum bar along Namugongo road last Friday. Revelers who had readied themselves for a performance from Radio and Weasel were shocked when they saw Weasel alone on stage yet they had spotted his counterpart around.
According to our sources at the bar, Radio blacked out after he allegedly took a lot of weed right before the performance. We were told that the singer went into his car and allegedly got high on liquor and weed before he slept for a good four hours. This was towards midnight when their performance was due.
On realizing that his partner had blacked out, Weasel performed alone only to be joined by the emcee of the night, comedian Salvado Idringi. Radio woke up much later and sped off.
