In a recent interview with the Obsever, former GoodLyfe musician Weasel also known as Douglas Mayanja Sseguya explained why he never helped Mowzey Radio when he was being beaten and later bundled on a Police truck.
Weasel who never tried to intervene as his singing partner Radio was being beaten revealed he is a very calm and collected person, one who hates chaos.
“I wanted to stay out of that business,” said Weasel.
He added that their former manager Jeff Kiwanuka and his friend Mowzey Radio wanted to sort out their issues and there was little or nothing that he could do but look on and stay out of their business.
“I just watched on and let them sort themselves out,” he reveals.
When asked about whether he can stand alone as a musician, Weasel answered in the affirmative. “Yes I can. I am a man, I have the energy.” He said.
He however made it known that he prefers working with someone asserting that two heads are better than one.
“But why should I when two heads are better than one? We both had solo careers before and people didn’t like our music.” He added.
He also said that they would not be breaking up any time soon contrally to rumours that have been making rounds in some sections of the media.
