In a delightful turn of events this festive season, the renowned Ugandan artist, Weasel Manizo, and his wife, Sandra Teta, showcased their love and family bond through a captivating Christmas photoshoot. The heartwarming images, capturing moments with their children, sent social media into a frenzy, drawing widespread admiration and attention.
Weasel, known for his musical prowess as the boss of Goodlyfe Magic music label, attributed the creative Christmas photoshoot idea to his beloved wife, Sandra Teta.
The couple’s endearing display of family unity struck a chord with many netizens, leaving them pleasantly surprised by Weasel’s public expression of affection towards his Rwandese partner, a departure from his past relationships.
In a television interview, Weasel Manizo shared, “The Christmas photoshoot idea was for my baby mama,” shedding light on the inspiration behind the heartwarming family portraits.

The relationship between Weasel Manizo and Sandra Teta has blossomed over nearly six years. Sandra, a former Rwandese beauty queen, made headlines when she relocated to Uganda in 2018. Her move followed a brief period of legal trouble related to the alleged mismanagement of funds during her Rwanda International Fashion World event. Notably, the event had attracted the presence of celebrated music icon Bebe Cool and socialite Zari Hassan.
Upon settling in Kampala, Sandra took on a part-time role promoting the popular Hideout Bar & Lounge at Lugogo Bypass, a favorite hangout for musicians, especially those affiliated with the Mayanja family. Weasel and Sandra’s paths crossed in late 2018, as Weasel, an old friend of Sandra’s from their days in Rwanda, frequented the bar.
Their relationship became public when Sandra appeared in Weasel Manizo’s love song, ‘Guwoma,’ offering fans a glimpse into the depth of their connection. Sandra, who previously contested for the Miss SFB beauty pageant in 2011, emerged as the 2nd runner-up, a stepping stone that paved the way for her involvement in the showbiz world.
Sandra Teta, recognized for her contributions to Miss Rwanda beauty pageant and the organizing company Rwanda Inspiration Back-Up, has also been associated with hosting various entertainment events, including The Red Carpet and Rwanda International Fashion World.
Before her journey to Uganda, Sandra was in a relationship with Derek, an active crew member, for several years. However, she chose to move forward with her life independently after facing scandals in the past.
Together, Weasel and Sandra have welcomed two children into their lives. Weasel revealed that plans for their wedding are in the pipeline, promising a celebration of their love in the near future. The couple’s journey, marked by love, resilience, and shared dreams, continues to capture the hearts of fans, and anticipation grows for the next chapter in their evolving love story.
