Dear lord, when you finally send me a man, please let him come in something floral, be it his pants or his socks. Bottom line, a man in print is a total turn on for me. This is a man that knows how to choose his clothes, and is fashion risk taker!
It’s high time you started adding an element of play to your office look. Stay away from the traditional black and white shirts aired with the black or grey pants. A little print is not going to hurt you.
So this week, I recommend the floral print, on your office wear office. It’s not as hard as it sounds. Since it’s to the office, you could stick to the minimal detail, and maybe go all out towards the weekend.
For instance, you can elevate your Monday outfit, by adding a micro floral tie, or even have on a floral pocket square, for the CEO kind of guy. Alternatively, you could keep the rest of your shirt neutral and just have the print on your collar and your sleeves.
Then midweek, you could opt for a floral shirt. Since you are wearing it to the office, keep the print micro, so that it’s just enough to make the right statement, and not cause alarm.
Always keep in mind that less is more, so unless your work station is a boutique, then do not opt for double prints. You don’t want to be the talk of the entire office all day. It has to be worn on one part in your look, either your top, or your bottom.
But since Friday is usually a smart casual day for most work places, you can then have on the floral blazer, or a pair of suspenders, to brighten up your mood. Yes, your outfit can help with your mood!
The other accessories you could try out could be floral framed sunglasses, bow ties, socks, and even t-shirts.
After all, fashion is all about experimenting, and pushing boundaries.
