Musician Bebe Cool, well known for his leading role on the Tubonga Nawe project which saw President Museveni return to power, has commented on today’s Forum for Democratic change press conference.
This comes after former FDC president and presidential candidate, Dr Kizza Besigye called on masses to boycott all pro-Museveni entities and musicians who took part in the Tubonga nawe project, before going on to urge them to stay home on Thursday.
The “Byebyo” singer has reportedly come out to assert that Uganda being a democratic country, all artistes that participated in the Tubonga Nawe project had a choice to make just like any other Ugandan.
“This is unfortunate, especially from a party like FDC. This is a democratic country and we as people who participated in the Tubonga Nawe project had a choice to make,” said the dreadlocked singer, while addressing media shortly after the FDC press conference.
We will keep you posted.
