Renowned Jamaica Reggae band, Morgan Heritage is finally in town.

The award winning band, which jetted in on Tuesday evening, has promised a thrilling show. Speaking at a press conference held today at Protea Hotel, Gramps Morgan, a back-up vocalist and instrumentalist in the band, revealed that they are excited to be in Uganda.

“We are excited to perform for Ugandans because we heard that Uganda loves reggae more than a lot of countries here in Africa,” he said. “We may even have some surprises tomorrow. Its gonna be historical.”

However, they will be performing with out their sister and band member, Una Morgan.

“My sister had a heart attack about a year and a half ago so she cant travel far for a certain amount of hours. She could not come because the distance was way too long,” Gramps explained.

Popular for songs like “A man is still man”, “Tell me how come”, “Ready Or Not”, and “Don’t Haffi dread” among others, Morgan Heritage will be performing in Uganda for the first time this Thursday, April 13 at Lugogo Cricket Oval.
