Wayne Rooney may be left with a bit of explaining to do to his latest sponsors Samsung, after the Manchester United striker was seemingly caught red-handed still using his Apple iPhone.
The England international was proudly unveiled – somewhat bizarrely in a boxing setting – as the latest face to be part of Samsung’s new global ad campaign #Galaxy11.

The idea is that a side of famous footballers will ‘take on invading aliens’ as part of a series of chapters over the coming months that Samsung will document across Galaxy devices and their social media channels.
Nifty plan, eh?!
Well, it is until one of your star signings gets caught in another Twitter spat with CNN host Piers Morgan, and apparently uses Samsung’s main rival as his preferred message delivery method…
