Vivo Energy Joins KCCA festival with a 50 million sponsorship.

Vivo Energy has added its weight to the KCCA independence festivities, by sponsoring a 2-day rally.

The rally that acts as a pre-event activity for the KCCA Carnival starts on the 1st October at the Nakawa Estate and will run through to Sunday 2 nd passing through the city centre.

Vivo Energy today announced a 50 million sponsorship towards the rally, that has attracted over 40 drivers.

Speaking at the handover ceremony, Vivo Energy MD, Hans Paulsen noted that the first Shell station in Uganda was opened in 1953 in Kampala, “As we celebrate the Kampala city festival 2016 we celebrate the heritage of Shell in Uganda” Hans Said.

He further said that the festival will give Shell customers and the general public a great opportunity to celebrate Kampala.

Shell V-Power and Shell Helix sponsored Rally Circuit and Street Exhibition will be an exciting activity for rally fans who have not had a chance to follow the rally in the forests, a chance to witness the cars compete on Kampala streets.

Vivo Energy is also giving all motorists an opportunity to experience Shell V-Power the formula for driving excitement, by putting a discount on V-Power throughout the Kampala city festival weekend.
