Ugandan singer Vivian Tendo has finally been granted approval to join her husband, Moses Tinsley, in the United States after nearly five years of waiting.

The joyful news was confirmed by Tinsley, who revealed that at one point, immigration officers had informed them that Tendo’s approval to travel might not come until 2030—a delay that left the couple deeply discouraged.
However, the situation has now changed, thanks to strong support from their church family, Col. Hostetler, and the late Congressman Raúl Grijalva, together with his congressional secretary, Josie Medina, who pushed for the case to be expedited until the long-awaited breakthrough came.

In a heartfelt statement, Tinsley expressed his gratitude and relief.
“Since 2019, I’ve gone back and forth between Uganda and the U.S. Though America became my home and mission field, my passion to uplift the less privileged, orphaned, and vulnerable at Gloryland and beyond has remained unshaken through the support of an amazing leadership team,” he said.

He went on to recall the painful moment when immigration officials told him that his wife’s approval might not come until 2030.
“Sometimes the weight of wait is hard to carry,” Tinsley admitted.
With the approval now secured, the couple is ready to enjoy life together without barriers.
“Now, after many months of sacrifice and distance, even since our wedding, we finally stand together. It has cost us dearly, but purpose always comes with a price. Today, we begin again, and soon we will start over with our honeymoon. Welcome home, my love,” he added.
The development marks the end of a long period of uncertainty for the couple and the beginning of a new chapter in their marriage.
