Statistically the better team lost as Vipers stunned defending champions Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) by 2-0 at the Phillip Omondi Stadium, Lugogo in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).
Vipers benefited from two first half unfortunate own goals by defender Joseph Ochaya in the 27th minute and goalkeeper Yasin Mugabi who put the ball in the back of his own net with barely a minute to recess to hand victory to the guests.
