League defending champions Vipers Sports Club have today morning humiliated the 2011/2012 league champions, Express Football Club 4-1 in a friendly match played at Muteesa II Memorial Stadium in Wankulukuku.
Without much league action for them lately, the two sides found it necessary to keep their players in shape with a friendly as the league climaxes with two games left for each side.
Leku Alfred gave the visitors the lead with a 23rd minute strike before doubling it four minutes later to mark his brace on the day, giving his side a 2-0 lead by halftime.
Four minutes into the second half, John Ssemazzi fired against his former bosses to make it 3-0 for Vipers before William Wadri made it 4-0 in the 76th minute while the Red Eagles picked up a consolation in the 88th minute.
Express FC prepare to face off with table leaders KCCA FC in the next league fixture at Wankulukuku before traveling to Kavumba to play Police FC while Vipers will host Uganda Revenue Authority FC before visiting The Saints FC on the final day of the league.
