Vipers Sports Club proprietor and former FUFA president Lawrence Mulindwa met with the club fans on Wednesday as the two time league champions embark on a campaign to expand their fan base.
The former CECAFA presidential aspirant met with fans comprised mainly of boda-boda cyclists that operate between Kajjansi and Kawuku, along Entebbe road.
“Like all clubs, we have to start from somewhere. We have big plans and we can only achieve with support of you our fans,” President Mulindwa is quoted on the club’s official Facebook page.
Reports close to the club have also indicated that the 2016 Uganda Cup champions are set to start registering their fans. “We are a growing family and we shall do the same in other regions of the country soon so as to expand our fan base and grow our brand as well,” the club stated.
