Vipers’ new head Coach Abdullah Mubiru meets players for instructions

After being unveiled on Monday at Imperial Resort Beach in Entebbe as Vipers Sport Club new head coach, Abdullah Mubiru decided to meet with his players for instructions on Tuesday.

The former Proline FC and KCCA FC tactician was in the company of his technical team that included George Nsimbe (first assistant coach), Edward Golola (second assistant) among others.

During the meeting, players were briefed on the rules of engagement under their new boss and also given instructions that included the week’s training program as the Kitende based side who host their home games at Buikwe kick start serious pre-season training ahead of the new season. The players also underwent a medical test as well as a weigh in.

The Uganda Cup champions are set to face off with league winners KCCA FC on 14th August, 2016 before the league kicks off on Friday 19th of the same month.

Vipers, a two time league winner, will represent Uganda at next season’s CAF Confederations Cup.
