Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) defending champions Vipers Sports Club will play three friendlies before the league resumes on 27th October in an attempt to keep their players in shape and active during this international break.

“We started our campaign very well, that is the reason we are joint top of the table with KCCA. We need to maintain the momentum by ensuring the squad plays competitively,” senior coach Edward Golola is quoted on the club’s official website.

Golola also revealed intentions of trying out different formations during these friendlies as well as bring more competitiveness in his squad.

Vipers already have eight players within the national team leaving them with a task of keeping the other players active like their opponents Express fc and SC Villa have done after having friendly matches with the Cranes.
