Vipers' Ismail

By James Robert Kayindi

Edward Golola’s side, Vipers, who are enjoying spectacular form in the Uganda Premier League (UPL) are up against the struggling “Kasasiro Boys” today at their home in Buikwe stadium. Vipers are not only unbeaten in the league but have also won all their three league opening ties of the new campaign. Golola’s boys are also yet to concede a goal which leaves them as the most clinical team in the UPL at the moment and are third on the 16-team log.

Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) under the charges of George ‘Best’ Nsimbe will be up for another tough challenge from their Saturday 1-0 loss to Sadolin FC. Nsimbe’s side will have a massive boost today as they welcome back their stars, Brian Umony and Brian Majwega, who are yet to feature for the league champions this season. KCCA are in the 12th position on the UPL log after bagging just four points from three fixtures.

Umony and Majwega were last seen in action for their side during the recently concluded CECAFA Kagame Cup in Rwanda where they finished fourth with Brian Umony being the top scorer with a tally of 5goals.

Other Fixtures:

Bul Vs SC Vila – Kakindu Stadium, Jinja
Soana Vs Lweza – Kavumba Recreational Stadium
URA Vs Sports Club Victoria University –Mehta Stadium, Lugazi

All games kick-off at 4:30pm
