It was pretty tense as table leaders Vipers kept a tight grip on the title in a clash against Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) as the two side shared the spoils in a 2-2 draw in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) at Buikwe Stadium.
Farouk Miya was once again on the score sheet for the home side as he extended his personal tally to 8 goals while Mike Mutyaba scored the other goal for the table leaders having earlier on missed a penalty.
Serbian Milos Ilic and Kalanda Frank managed to come through as they helped the Tax collectors nurse their wounds for having lost three points in favour of SC Villa after they fielded a player (Said Kyeyune) that was meant to be serving suspension during their 0ne-all draw with the Blues at Mehta stadium in Lugazi.
The result was enough to keep Vipers on top of the 16 team table with 53 points from 24 games while URA kept their 4th place with 38 points from 23 games.
