A second placed Sports Club Villa target to narrow their four-point gap with leaders KCCA FC when they make a trip to the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi to take on four-time league champions Uganda Revenue Authority FC in the Azam Uganda Premier League on Tuesday evening.
Villa come in today’s game on the back of a 2-1 win against rivals Vipers SC on Saturday at Nakivubo while the Tax Collectors shared the spoils with Bright Stars in their last league fixture on Friday last week.
After 13 games, URA stands 6th on the log with 18 points while Villa are second with 27 points.
Elsewhere, league debutants Onduparaka FC, who are still unbeaten on at home, host struggling side Bul FC at the Bet Way Green Light stadium in Arua. FUFA player of the year Mohammad Shaban will be the man to watch after inspiring his side to a 1-0 away victory against The Saints FC over the weekend, elevating them to fourth place and topping the scoring chats with a personal tally of 8 goals, level with KCCA’s Geoffrey Sserunkuma.
On the other hand, Bul FC have struggled for form this season, leaving them in the bottom three after their 3-0 loss to Soana FC on Saturday.
In the other games, Lweza FC host Police FC at Wankulukuku, bottom side JMC Hippos welcome Bright Stars while Express FC travel to Kavumba to take on a third placed Soana FC as coach Matia Lule continues with the quest for his first league victory.
