VIGA Music Awards

By Lee Osbourne

Gospel awards, VIGA, have been postponed to next year just a few days after releasing the nominees list.

According to VIGA awards CEO, Nicholas Nyombi, the awards that were slated to take place on December 11th, 2015 have been postponed to January 16th, 2016 after they received numerous requests for more time from various stakeholders including sponsors, fans and artists.

However, this is good news to some artistes nominated in different categories since it will give more time to their fans to vote for them.

The VIGA Management also believes that this will also create room for a wider participation. In addition to that they are are going to publish a magazine carrying all the VIGA nominees & their profiles, voting guidelines, and some industry news.

Some of the nominees include; Exodus, Levixone, Wilson Bugembe, Judith Babirye, Sseku Martin, Coopy Bly and many others. The VIGA awards event will still take place at Imperial Royale Hotel on Saturday, 16th January next year.
