Ugandan songstress Vinka has shared details about her relationship with her fiancé, Nelly Witta, revealing how their love story evolved over time.
Speaking about their past, Vinka stated that she and Nelly were friends even before she rose to fame. However, their relationship faced challenges, leading to a temporary breakup.
“We were friends even before I became a superstar. But some things happened, and we broke up. However, he later showed up when I was still single,” she said.
Vinka also recalled how Nelly reacted when she informed him about her decision to pursue a music career. “I told him that I was going to start singing, but he didn’t believe me. He got scared after finding out how serious I was about joining the music industry. However, he persisted in pursuing me,” she explained.
Despite the uncertainties, Nelly never gave up on his feelings for her. “For years, he secretly took me as his girlfriend, but I didn’t know until I asked him about his intentions,” Vinka revealed.
The couple made their relationship public in 2021 when Nelly paid a traditional visit to Vinka’s parental home.
Their bond grew stronger, and they later welcomed a baby girl, marking another beautiful chapter in their love story.
