Tanzanian singer Ray C was taken into custody on Friday night by Tanzanian police at Kinondoni area after she was reportedly found walking on the road while shouting that someone was about to kidnap her.
The songstress who has been having drug problems reportedly asked for a knife so she could end her life.
This incident comes a few years after former Tanzanian President Jakya Kikwete offered to take her to rehab.
