Kenya’s Hollywood star Lupita Nyong’o was hosted on Jimmy Kimmel Live at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles.
The 33-year-old Oscar-winning actress promoted her new movie Queen of Katwe and recalls the time she met one of America’s top celebrity couple of rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce at the Met Ball.
The 12 Year a Slave star said that it was “amazing” meeting the two.
“My friends were like, ‘Oh there comes Beyonce’.
“I turned and she was coming towards me. It was her and Solange,” Lupita told Jimmy.
“She said, ‘Oh, me and my sister were just geeking out. Hi, I’m Beyonce.’
“What kind of world is this where Beyonce is coming to introduce herself to me?
“Oh my goodness, it was amazing.”
