Sensational attacking midfielder Suleiman Mike Mutyaba has been named Express Football Club Captain for the 2016/2017 season.
Mutyaba returned to the Red Eagles camp this summer after being axed at Vipers Sports Club by the new head coach Abdullah Mubiru. He had been part of Express at the start of last season (2015/16) but left to return to Vipers in January 2016.
He now replaces the already departed Vincent Kayizzi in the commanding role who left this summer to join league champions Kampala Capital City Authority FC.
The two time league champion with Vipers will be deputized by Ismail Kazibwe and Yafesi Mubiru respectively.
The development was revealed on Wednesday 17th at Wankulukuku during the club’s unveiling ceremony for the new players and team home and away kits.
At the same event, the team’s coaching staff was also revealed, being led by Alex Gitta, Wasswa Bbosa, Bamweyana, Mubiru and Kigenyi the goalkeeping coach.
