Mbagala Nyo is an afro pop fusion of sounds produced by Daddy Cabu and sang by Josh Moziah. Daddy Cabu (Jakob Liechti) is a Swiss producer / sounddesigner/ sound engineer, who works in many fields of sound. He works with artists in any kind of style from Hip hop to Avante garde and classical or experimental music.
Josh Moziah is a Ugandan audio producer, song writer and beat maker from Western Uganda. Josh and Daddy Cabu met in his hometown of Kasese.
The projects under the name Daddy Cabu summarizes only the African projects he works on. In Uganda he has so far worked with a number of artists including those under Trendsetters/ Talent Africa music label that has Beenie Gunter and Ahlam Lamu under their sleeve. One big part of his production also includes scoring and sounddesign for movies and games.
The video was shot on location in Kasese mountains by Video director Sasha Vybz. Daddy Cabu is represented in East Africa by his East African Agent and Manager JoeBlack Manyire, who intimated to us that more crazy projects are slated to come out later this year and more to come beginning of 2022.
