The children of the late singer AK47, one of the Mayanja brothers, have finally paid their respects at his grave for the first time.
AK47, born Emmanuel Mayanja, tragically lost his life nine years ago in a nightclub incident. At the time of his death, his children were in the United Kingdom, still young and unable to attend his burial.
AK47’s untimely death shocked fans and family alike. He passed away under mysterious circumstances in a nightclub bathroom, with reports suggesting he was beaten to death. Despite these suspicions, no arrests have been made in connection with his death, leaving the case unsolved to this day.

The singer left behind three young children who had little to no opportunity to know him. They have been raised by their mother in the UK, with the responsibility of a father figure assumed by their uncle, Pallaso, a fellow singer in the Mayanja family.
Pallaso took it upon himself to care for them, giving them the support and guidance they needed while growing up. For years, Pallaso filled the role of a father figure, with the children seeing him as the closest link to their late father.
According to the family, they had decided not to tell the children about AK47’s passing until they were mature enough to understand. This year, they were finally able to travel back to Uganda and learn about their father’s legacy firsthand.
During their recent visit, the three children spent a reflective day at AK47’s grave, where they prayed, cleaned, and weeded the surrounding area as they honored his memory.
