Contrary to some misconceptions, Abba Marcus clarified that his intentions were always rooted in love and a desire for his father’s well-being. “I’m happy to see that, contrary to popular belief, people see how much I respect and love my father and wish nothing but the best for him,” he shared.
He went on to reassure his followers that his father is receiving the necessary help and care, although the journey toward recovery is still ongoing.
“My father is getting the help he needs. We’re not quite there yet, but we’re making big steps towards the main goal,” he stated, emphasizing the importance of the collective effort to raise awareness about this issue. Abba Marcus also credited the Ugandan people for their involvement, saying, “Thanks to you guys breaking the internet. We’re making bigger steps than we’ve ever made, and I don’t even know how long.”

“You may not know yet, but you may be saving my father’s life,” he said, addressing his followers directly. “As a son, I want to formally thank you guys. My father has been my hero since I was a child.”
Addressing those who may have misunderstood his message, Abba Marcus firmly stated that he was not concerned with negativity, adding, “I care the least about what you have to say.”
