Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) will be hoping to bounce back from their 1-0 loss to Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) that they suffered during their away visit to Lugazi on Tuesday. SCVU will be away to Express FC at the Wankulukuku stadium this Friday (24th October) where they will be hoping to revive their winning ways.
Morely Byekwaso’s side, SCVU, has suffered a difficult start of the season since winning their league opener (1-0) against the league debutants – Lweza FC. Since then they have had three consecutive goalless draws and most recently lost to URA in a game where they didn’t have some of their star players like Dennis Iguma, Savio Kabugo and goal keeper, Benjamin Ochan.
After losing three points with a three goal margin that were awarded to SC Villa following their game that was aborted, Waswa Bossa’s side, Express FC, will be hungry to prove a point when they host SCVU. Express lost three points to league rivals SC Villa following their abandoned match that was at the Ssaza grounds in Mityana on 17th, October 2014.
The 2013/14 league runners, SCVU, who are standing 10th on the table with 6points from five games will be eager to collect another point. Meanwhile Express are 8th on the table with 7points form five games and will be hungry to punish SCVU for their mistakes that cost them three points in the abandoned Villa tie.
