Musician Chosen Becky was once signed under the management of fellow musician Victor Kamenyo. Chosen Becky then woke up and decided to go rouge, stating that she felt like she was riding the coattails of Victor Kamenyo and people did not appreciate her music earnestly but rather because of the influence Victor had in the music industry.
While choosing a solo career, Chosen Becky stated that she wanted people to see her for herself rather than traveling in the shadows of Victor Kamenyo. She also stated that she was grateful for the nurturing and for everything they had been through together as a musician and her manager.
Soon after their separation however, rumors started flying from all corners, suggesting that Victor Kamenyo had tried to indulge Chosen Becky in a romantic relationship, something that did not sit well with her so she had chosen to walk away from his management and choose her own career path.
At that particular time when the pair parted ways, many incidents occurred as Victor Kamenyo survived spending a night in jail because the pair had booked shows in that time period but Chosen Becky did not turn up for a show in Mukono.
Well, Victor Kamenyo was hosted on a Sanyuka TV show dubbed Sanyuka Crossfire yesterday where he denied all allegations of a bad separation between him and Chosen Becky. He denied having tried to get romantically involved with Chosen Becky, stating that their separation was not even out of spite.
“No. We did not separate as harshly as people claim. Everything was done legally. The shows we had booked at that specific time were also done to completion. We even kept our good relationship because when it comes to management, you do t own a musician but rather you work together.” He stated.
