The family of Benjamin Owor, better known in Uganda’s entertainment circles as DJ Bush Baby, has announced that he will be laid to rest this Sunday at his ancestral home in Tororo.

The 50-year-old music pioneer was found dead on Tuesday at a family residence in Bugonga, Entebbe Municipality, where he had been staying.

According to family members, Owor was discovered in his private bedroom after several unanswered calls from his wife raised alarm.

Initial reports had suggested he may have passed away in his studio, but relatives have since clarified that he was found in his bedroom.
