Vampino real names Elvis Kirya is another Ugandan musician that has come up to express his disappointment with Ugandan Djs and radio presenters blaming them for failure to promote Ugandan music.
In a recent interview, the dancehall star said that most Ugandan Djs have kept a trend of playing only music from international artistes and a few top local artistes thus ignoring the upcoming artistes something that makes it hard for them to break through in the music industry.
Vampino is also not happy with most radio presenters and deejays for being unprofessional, adding that most of them normally demand money from artistes in order to play their music even when it’s a hit song.
Meanwhile, Vampino has a new song with Keko titled Yakala Tumba and the two are now working on the video of the song which is expected to be released soon.
