Musician Vampino has openly shared his sentiments about the the Uganda Entertainment Awards held on Friday evening at Kampala Serena Hotel. The dancehall singer has no kind words for the organisers. He blasted the awards saying they were ill-conceived.

He opined on social media:

“About last night’s awards
Guys i will be very proud if my country broadcasts the truth on channels that cross borders.
But everything looked ill about nominations, categories performances.
Not in a bad way pipo like Salvado and mcz managed to pull the string so high to make it happen but if it wasnt for them i was gonna switch off my tv set.
Thanks to fenon that made an amasing stage and jack pemba for making it possible.
But we need pipo who have experience in choosing music and where it belongs other than getting sponsorship and gate collection as the main theme”
