It’s a shame that a one time poster boy of Ugandan dancehall makes the news for reasons other than his music. He has remained buried in obscurity and the only time he tries to remind us of his existance, he is caught up in embarrassing webs of shame.
Just last Friday, the buck toothed singer turned up at Club Venom with his entire lineage seeking free entrance as he had come to see Jamaican singer Macka Diamond perform. The pleas to have his entire groupies seek entrance fell on deaf ears as they were repeatedly told to leave the venue. The bouncers marshaled by Dixon Okello brushed his entire crew off until the singer coerced them into believing that he would perform if granted entry. A miserable-looking Rabadaba was later allowed to enter the venue.
Meanwhile, Vampino must have regretted the decision to engage Macka Diamond in patois. The shaking singer was seen nodding his head in embarrassment as his Makindye strewn patois was no match for that of a lady who was born and bred in Jamaica. He later saved his blushes when he teamed up with Macka Diamond to do Beenie Man’s part in a song with Macka Diamond. Hard luck boys.
